Hudson finished his AKC Championship in a tidy fashion, consistently Best of Winners, and with comments from judges such as, “ I wanted to
be one of the judges who recognized this boy as a puppy and rewarded his excellence while he was a class dog.” Is that not just the loveliest comment?
We’re so proud of him- he was shown by his young breeder/owner, Maxie, to every point and about half of them came from BBE. He was BOS over
specials several times as a class dog and we are seeing him mature daily into an amazing adult dog who has it all going for him. The ride so far has
been a blast! He made the cut at a National from the difficult 12-18 class at 14 months, and has thrilled us in many, many ways. We are very proud of him.
Thank you to all the judges who saw Hudson’s correct conformation and thank you also to all the breeders who are using him and the owners who are going out
and showing off and titling his get!
We’re taking him to limited shows as a special with the goal of GCH/SDHF downline- right now he is enjoying his field work and beginning some obedience work
with degrees in both on his agenda. He’s a swimming fool of a dog and he is always up for a bird or a bumper. There is nothing more handsome than this dog
entering the water, flying through the air.
Hudson has a lovely headpiece and complete dentition. He has had jet black, never fading, pigment since the day he was born. His front assembly is
beautiful, and his rear angles and proportions match the front. He’s very balanced and moves beautifully, is a wonderful dog to live with. He carries an abundant
coat, and as a stud dog he is producing lovely puppies who are following in his footsteps and pointing at a young age. We’ve also begun to get some reports
on prelims and we’re getting some Excellents!
Hudson’s temperament is stellar- he gets along with everyone and knows no strangers. He’s mannerly and calm. He is a wonderful companion who loves to travel and
enjoys seeing the sights. He’s OFA Good, with current eye clearance at all times. He is DNA cleared non-carrier for prcd/PRA and ichthyosis.
