Prism Golden Retrievers
We are located near Chattanooga, TN, and are personally active in several areas of dog sport.
Our Junior Show days in the ring are over, as Maxie has aged out - but we still teach classes to wonderful young handlers, and are proud that we have been able to have a positive influence on so many kids.
We believe a balanced Golden has titles on each end of his/her name, and we also believe a Golden has an innate need to do a job. To that end, we send all of our dogs to a wonderful field trainer in Georgia to do the field titling and we do obedience and tracking ourselves. Maxie shows our dogs in conformation, and we are proud of our versatile and beautiful dogs.
News
Bess is enjoying her old age- she is so healthy and enjoys days swimming in the creek, retrieving a bumper or two, and being groomed. She truly loves to have the spa treatment and we love to spoil her.
Nash has taken a real interest in quality time with Bess, which is a grand thing for a teenager, to have a dog by his side.
Jake is swimming a lot as well, and is a hardbodied boy who is always waiting for the next frisbee, the next dummy, the next bird, the next ...his name should be NEXT!
Gypsy is growing coat and getting her girlish figure back, and seems younger for this litter. She is enjoying Kiss, as are all the dogs. Hudson and Lyla both seem to know Kiss is a new pal, and they are enjoying having her chase them, and treating her like a little sibling (which she is). We settled on her name - Prism's Thousand Kisses Deep. The litter that produced Hudson and Lyla has been so good for us, healthy, happy, talented and very correct.
Hudson has finished his AKC CH, and Lyla has major points and a Junior Hunter title- which just goes to show how very versatile this litter was....and there is still so much in store for these two! Kiss is the same pedigree and we want her to be just as successful.
Litters
We are tentatively planning a fall breeding - if that timetable suits you and you are interested in what we produce, please inquire.
We usually have a list of folks waiting for our versatile and beautiful puppies, and
getting on a list early -whether with us or with another breeder- allows you and the breeder to get to know each other and feel comfortable with your choice of what will be a lifelong relationship.

We are dedicated to producing quality Golden Retrievers, with an eye on temperament, health,
and structure.
We are very proud of our small
and successful breeding program.
Our dogs all have OFA hip and elbow clearances, current eye clearances (CERF) and cardiac clearances done by a veterinary cardiologist. We follow the GRCA Code of Ethics and we have also invested in the future of testing and clearances by having our breeding dogs tested for prcd/PRA in order to help eliminate this simple recessive trait that leads to a devastating diagnosis.
We offer stud service to select bitches. It is always our intent to improve on what we have, and to offer to the future a better dog,
keeping in mind the breed standard as well as the breed purpose.

Trace is at Auntie Kim's (TurtleCreek Sporting Dogs) for her JH. She knew something was up when she got to go to the vet's all by herself, and then to the dog show for the ride to Kim's. What she doesn't know is how much fun she is going to have!
Wasabi (the lone Shiba Inu) finished his AKC Championship, making all our boys AKC Champions! He was one year and 3 weeks old, had had limited ring exposure and finished with 3 majors. He got to play with his mama over the weekend and came back knowing he was not a Golden.
